Speedy Machine Car Rental is hiring a detail-oriented Garage Accountant to manage financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, VAT compliance, and inventory accounting.

- Prepare and maintain daily accounting records

- Prepare VAT records and assist with tax compliance
- Monitor workshop expenses and profitability
- Maintain inventory and spare parts accounting records
- Generate monthly financial reports for management
- Coordinate with operations and service teams regarding billing and payments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations
- Experience with accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Odoo, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Good communication skills in English
- Automotive garage experience preferred

Job Description
- We are looking for a detail oriented and experienced Garage Accountant to join our automotive workshop team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the garage, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all accounting activities are completed efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain daily accounting records.
- Record customer invoices, supplier invoices, and payments.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and petty cash.
- Process payroll and staff expenses.
- Prepare VAT records and assist with tax compliance.

- Maintain inventory and spare parts accounting records.

- Ensure all financial documents are properly filed and organized.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience (automotive garage experience is preferred).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and VAT regulations in the UAE.
- Experience with accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Odoo, or similar).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills in English. Arabic is an advantage.
