About the Role
We are hiring a Macroeconomist on a contract basis to develop and maintain macroeconomic models using EViews for a technology client. You will analyze economic trends, forecast scenarios, and provide insights for strategic decision-making.

- Build, validate, and refine macroeconomic models in EViews to simulate policy impacts and economic scenarios
- Analyze historical and real time economic data to identify trends and inform model assumptions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate model outputs into actionable insights for business or policy decisions
- Document methodologies, assumptions, and model limitations to ensure transparency and reproducibility
- Present findings to non technical audiences in clear, structured formats, including written reports and presentations
Requirements
- Proficiency in EViews software for time series econometric modeling and forecasting
- Strong background in macroeconomics, econometrics, or a related quantitative field
- Experience with data analysis, statistical modeling, and interpretation of economic indicators
- Ability to write and debug custom scripts in EViews for model automation and scenario testing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex economic concepts to diverse stakeholders
