Machining Process Engineer

Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical preferred)

3+ years experience in a Manufacturing Engineering environment, preferably Automotive Manufacturing

Ability to support launch programs while traveling

Strong Project Management skills and result-oriented mindset

Strong computer skills (Excel, Power Point, etc.)

3D CAD review abilities (Teamcenter, VisMockup, CATIA, or equivalent)

Understanding of PFMEA and failure mode avoidance principles

Strong verbal & written communication and presentation skills

Ability to operate in stressful situations within timing constraints

Ability to work with minimal direct supervision

Ability to travel including extended travel to assembly and component plants in US, Canada, and/or Mexico required (largely Sharonville, OH)

Working knowledge of statistics (control charts, data collecting, GD&T etc.)

Knowledge in the following Ford software systems: , WERS, GSPAS/APT, Teamcenter, E2KS, AIM

Automotive Manufacturing Engineering experience preferred but not mandatory

Experience w/automotive assembly or machining tooling, processes and facilities preferred but not mandatory

Experience in high volume industrial machining systems

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $86,600-$144,900.

This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $99,100-$166,200.
