Machine Service Technician - Weekend Day Shift

As a Machine Service Technician at VulcanForms Inc., Devens, MA , you will work in an operations shop floor environment and help to ensure our cutting edge technology is running effectively.

will involve mechanical assembly maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues and performing routine preventative maintenance to support the operation of the additive manufacturing machines.

Employees in this role are potentially exposed to moving mechanical parts and loud environments.

VulcanForms is a 24/7/365 operation.

This shift covers Friday through Sunday, and every other Thursday, from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

• Plan and schedule preventative maintenance activities on the Additive Metal Printers throughout the facility.
• Prioritize maintenance activities to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum.
• Maintain 3d printing systems, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and fiber laser systems.
• Work collaboratively with Operations, Machine Build and Engineering to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Identify and communicate updates to TPMs that may be required through hands on observation.
• Provide status updates to management on assigned projects.
• Assist with installation of equipment and machines in production.
• Reading mechanical blueprints to perform maintenance duties.
• Adhere to and support Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures.
