Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings and print specifications to set up machines.
- Select, install, and adjust tooling and fixtures according to job requirements.
- Operate CNC and manual machining equipment safely and efficiently.
- Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other gauges.
- Record production data and maintain accurate job logs in computer systems.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and report any malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all company and regulatory safety standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Hands‑on experience with CNC and manual machining equipment.
- Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Basic computer skills, including Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Understanding of safety procedures and ability to follow lockout/tagout protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
- Flexibility to work overtime or shift changes as needed.
