Machine Operator Floater 2nd Shift

The primary role of this position is to operate line equipment and transfer finished products off the production floor.

The duties for this position include but are not limited to the following:

• Operate production line equipment without supervision
• Operate date coders and labelers
• Assist in line change -overs and set-ups
• Police work area and machinery as needed
• Maintain a clean work area by sweeping, mopping floors and wiping down machinery as needed and at the end of shift.
• Monitor and report on food quality and safety issues.
• Continually monitor the facility for security measures or breeches.
• Responsible for insuring proper packaging, coding, labeling an pallet configuration of shipments.
• Act in a safe manner at all times and advise supervision of any safety issues.
• Responsible for all HACCP, quality and production documentation applicable to the position.
• Assist other departments as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management
