Overview
We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator specializing in large-format printing.
The ideal candidate must be skilled in operating printing machines and proficient in design and print software, ensuring high-quality output and efficient production workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain large-format printing machines, including Flora printers and HP Latex printers
- Prepare print files and manage workflows using Caldera and PhotoPRINT software
- Ensure accurate color calibration and print quality control
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Monitor print jobs to ensure deadlines and production targets are met
- Handle different materials such as vinyl, banners, stickers, and fabric
- Coordinate with design and production teams for job requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a machine operator in large-format printing
- Strong knowledge of Caldera RIP software and PhotoPRINT
- Hands-on experience with Flora and HP Latex printing machines
- Understanding of color profiles, printing materials, and finishing processes
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
- Good attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical diploma or relevant certification
- Experience in signage, advertising, or printing industry
- Basic knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)
