Pay
- Base pay is $18.50 per hour.
Day Shift Schedule
- The day shift is scheduled for 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with hours varying based on operations.
- Shifts may be 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on daily work orders and seasonality.
- Overtime and weekend work may be required when needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and operate heavy machinery and gauges for cutting, punching, forming, blocking, and processing operations.
- Produce quality building parts and follow manufacturing safety rules and precautions.
- Operate computerized and material handling equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools.
- Mark part, order, and piece numbers and attach identification tags.
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical data and select correct materials.
- Maintain continuous improvement practices in the work area.
- Perform repetitive material handling and climb on and off equipment and ladders.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent GED.
- At least one year of related manufacturing or comparable work experience.
- Good communication skills and basic computer skills.
- Experience with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, and nail guns.
- Ability to use measuring gauges and read a tape measure.
- Forklift and crane experience are pluses; candidates must be trainable on the equipment.
