Machine Operator - Continental Day Shift

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work as a team to achieve production, quality and safety goals
• Operate production equipment including; mixers, production presses, cylinder presses, peeling machines, rewinding machines, convoluters, laminators, die cut, regrind and screening line
• Read and follow all work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the products being run
• Wrap, strap and correctly label all materials used and produced
• Complete required documentation (e.g., production reports, pre-shift inspections, etc.)
• Report production activities & place products into designated inventory bins in the ERP system
• Review products for quality and conformance standards and report issues to the supervisor
• Complete hand-off to the subsequent shift, with a focus on production concerns and crucial work instructions
• Operate forklift safely, if assigned and upon successful completion of training
