Machine Operator Assistant Stacker

The Opportunity:

The Stacker Operator plays a critical role in supporting corrugator and converting operations by safely operating and assisting with stacker and related equipment. This position ensures product quality, workplace safety, and production efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, quality-driven, and eager to grow within the organization.

Follow all required safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, PPE usage (safety shoes and hearing protection), and safe material handling practices.

Maintain constant awareness of moving machinery, nip points, conveyors, stop buttons, and guarding systems.

Correctly use and maintain guards, gates, chains, and safety devices always.

Immediately shut down equipment and notify supervision if unsafe conditions, malfunctions, or major issues occur.

Operate and assist with stacker equipment and support operators across multiple machines as needed.

Assist with equipment setup and changeovers, including: Installing dies, attachments, and printing plates (as applicable) Setting pull rolls, collars, straps, scores, heads, and blade combinations Setting and adjusting Prefeeder and Lead Edge Feeder Adjusting pressures and registering Operating and monitoring glue and ink systems Setting folding rails, squaring sections, and ejectors
