We are hiring for Machine Operators to help us in our production team.

Job description

Main Activities:

Set up equipment using computer-controlled equipment

Cleaning containers, general mixing area, mixers and filling stations for production batches

Disposing of cabin powder

General cleaning and housekeeping of your area at all times

Preparing batches by weighing and adding the ingredients to the container according to the mix sheet

Familiarity with source identification numbers and product descriptions used in batch making to ensure proper materials are being used to make batch corrections as required

Operating the tow motor and lift truck

Proper operation and interpretation of all scales used in batch weighing

Supporting Work Practices

Liaise with material controller concerning availability of raw materials

Organizing and replenishing of raw material supplies in the weigh station area ie. (pigments, resins)

Put newly received raw materials away in the warehouse

What will you bring?

An aptitude for working with factory machinery

Extruding, mill and mixing operating experience preferred

Understanding of maintenance, safety and quality principles an asset.

Ability to operate a forklift an asset.
