About the Role
OSI Group is hiring a Machine Operator for 2nd shift to set up, operate, and monitor production machinery in a food manufacturing plant. The role requires a high school diploma, ability to lift 50 pounds, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities
- Set up assigned equipment each day according to production schedule and product specifications
- Monitor equipment operations, troubleshoot and resolve basic malfunctions
- Calibrate systems to time, temperature, and positions of equipment
- Record and interpret temperatures as related to the process
- Perform general housekeeping duties in production area
- Comply with safety, GMP, and food safety policies
Requirements
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent work experience

- Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions
- Ability to read and follow a designated recipe
- Basic understanding of units of measure

Role Overview
- This role is responsible for operating various types of machinery as described by assigned leadership.
Job Responsibilities
- Set up assigned equipment each day according to production schedule.
- Monitor equipment operations, troubleshoot and resolve basic malfunctions.
- Data recording, entry, and adjustment as needed.
- Calibrate systems to time, temperature, and positions.
- Record and interpret temperatures.
- Use, read and record measuring devices and product parameters.
- Monitor equipment daily and take corrective measures.
- Work with maintenance staff on preventive maintenance programs.
- Notify management of unusual or out of spec operations.
- Perform general housekeeping duties.
- Take ownership of equipment and machinery.
- Comply with safety, GMP, food safety policies.
Experience & Skills
- 0 1 years of experience in related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Products.
- Ability to perform comparative analysis.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions.
- Ability to read and follow a designated recipe.
- Basic understanding of units of measure.
- Ability to read and understand written specifications in English.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Compensation/Benefits
- Hourly pay range: $19.75 to $24.25 per hour.
- Eligible for overtime pay, shift differentials, and bonus opportunities.
