Machine Operator 1st Shift

Responsible for day to day operation and maintenance of shears, bevelers, engraving and badge machines, and panel saw

P ick all required materials to complete a job

Ensure product meets quality standards while also meeting production goals and minimizing waste

Recognize pre-production problems such as material thickness, material defects, correct material type, etc.

Eliminate return good authorizations by accurately marking, segregating and cutting defective material

Follow machine operating instructions and safety guidelines while performing duties

Identify problems in the manufacturing process and reporting them

Perform other duties as assigned

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Electro-mechanical aptitude or training preferred

Prior manufacturing or assembly experience preferred

Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30 pounds

Basic math and measurement skills, with the ability to interpret orders and procedural documents

Ability to analyze and interpret procedural documents, order requirements and instructions

Detail-oriented, strong work ethic, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn

Flexibility to work overtime or weekends when necessary
