Machine Maintenance Technician (UNP)

• Ability to perform as a member of a team or independently
• Familiarity with printing production machinery
• Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, multimeters, pneumatic systems, and schematics.
• Ability to identify and solve problems independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer skills for logging maintenance activities and reviewing equipment documentation.
• Demonstrated mechanical, electronic and software aptitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to solve problems as they arise.
• Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and time awareness and be able to work with limited direction under a department manager.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, attention to detail, and time management.

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience in equipment maintenance in a mail sorting, or production environment preferred

• Required to stand for long periods of time, bend, reach and move about the facility
• Required to grip twist and turn both hands for long periods of time
• Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to noise, moving mechanical parts, dust, and variable temperatures.

Must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background investigation.
