Machine Learning Engineer (Data & AI, Data Science Vipers Team)

The Data Science Team is responsible for the development, deployment, and monitoring of ML/AI models that impact different business areas, such as: Marketplace, Operations, and Commercial.

What you’ll have to do:

Formulate and argument a hypothesis, to access, clean and aggregate data, train and interpret models, present the result, get feedback, deploy model in production and monitor performance on a daily and weekly basis.

This implies collaboration with the team members involved in the process, others machine learning engineers, team lead, product owner, analysts, clients, and data teams.

Develop and deploy solutions on-premises and on-cloud depending on the project and the status.

Work in an environment where the adoption of GCP is mandatory for development and production.

Use Kubernetes cluster with GPU's included, running Docker containers on each task, writing Python and PySpark with internal standards for coding.

What makes you a good fit:

Appropriate skills for data wrangling with SQL and PySpark.

Experience working with structured and unstructured data.

Good understanding of ML/AI techniques, such as boosting and transformers.

Strong mathematical and statistical background about mentioned techniques.

Ability to efficiently write Python code for development and production.

Experience using a versioning control system (GitLab).

Familiarity with MLOps tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Kubeflow pipelines, will make your work and ours a lot easier.
