Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery
- Prepare engineering designs and specifications for mechanical products
- Apply engineering principles to support design of machines, instruments, controls, robotics, and related equipment
- Participate in fabrication, installation, operation, and application of mechanical products
- Support product testing and evaluate performance against specifications
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and design related issues
- Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and technical reports
- Follow established engineering procedures, standards, and safety requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product performance and manufacturing processes

- 0 – 2 years of experience in design and development of mechanical components in machining

- We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Design Engineer to design, develop, and test mechanical components, equipment, and machinery for aerospace products.
- Location: Ottawa, ON; Job Type: Full time; Work Arrangement: Hybrid.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
- Prepare engineering designs and specifications for mechanical products.
- Apply engineering principles to support the design of machines, instruments, controls, robotics, and related equipment.

- Base salary determined by geographic location, skills, competencies, and unique qualifications.
