Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain low voltage wiring systems throughout the facility.
- Assist with cable installation, termination, and dressing.
- Pull, terminate, and test data for low voltage cables.
- Install support structures, including racks, trays, slings, and j-hooks.
- Read and interpret technical drawings to guide installation work.
- Operate basic power tools and test equipment safely.
- Work from elevated positions, including aerial lifts, in accordance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with the Low Voltage team to complete projects efficiently and to Applied Medical's standards.
Success in This Role Looks Like
Build low voltage installation skills and progress toward independent project work.
Complete cable installation, termination, and testing tasks accurately.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Maintain consistent compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Communicate clearly and reliably with team members and leadership.
This Position Requires the Following Skills and Attributes
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, or bend as needed.
- Ability to lift approximately fifty to eighty pounds.
- Ability to work in tight, confined spaces and at extreme heights.
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including cold, heat, and rain.
- Current and valid California driver's license and ability to meet Department of Motor Vehicles check requirements.
- Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and strong work ethic.
The Following Skills and Attributes Are Preferred
- Experience reading and understanding technical drawings.
- Experience working on a team.
- Electrical experience in a similar field.
