Building Evolution Contracting is hiring a Low Current Systems Engineer, also titled ELV Engineer, for its Electrical Department in Dubai.
The role covers engineering, coordination, supervision, testing, and commissioning of low-current systems on construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Design, review, and coordinate Low Current / ELV systems and related drawings and technical submittals.
- Coordinate ELV systems with electrical, MEP, architectural, structural, and interior design works.
- Supervise site installation, testing, commissioning, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Prepare RFIs and technical documentation and resolve technical conflicts.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, authority requirements, specifications, and quality standards.
- Support project handover and final technical documentation.
Required systems experience
- CCTV, access control, intercom and video intercom, structured cabling, data and network systems, and Wi-Fi systems.
- SMATV and IPTV, public address, audio and video, gate barrier and parking, and home automation systems.
- ELV integration with other MEP and building systems.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant Low Current / ELV experience in Dubai or the UAE.
- Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
- Construction or MEP experience and practical knowledge across ELV design, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Ability to read and review electrical and ELV drawings and proficiency in AutoCAD and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of UAE regulations and authority requirements, plus strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of English is required; residential villa or high-end construction experience is advantageous.
- A UAE driving licence is advantageous.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 4,000 to AED 6,000 per month.
Work location
- The role is full-time and performed in person in Dubai.
