Job Title: Low Current & Security Systems Technician

We are looking for a skilled Low Current & Security Systems Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair ELV and Security systems.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CCTV, access control, AV systems, and structured cabling.

You will work closely with the project and service teams to ensure systems are deployed effectively and meet standards.

Install, configure, and test low current systems, including:

CCTV, Access control, Public Address (PA), Structured cabling &Audio Visual (AV) systems, smart home/building solutions

Run and terminate structured cabling.

Mount & configure security cameras, biometric readers, sensors, and controllers.

Perform preventive maintenance for all security and ELV systems.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faulty systems and equipment.

Replace defective components and ensure minimal downtime for clients.

Update firmware and software for network-based systems.

Prepare and maintain installation reports, maintenance logs, and handover documents.

Support the preparation of as-built drawings and wiring diagrams.

Assist the project team with site surveys and project planning.

Train end-users on proper system usage and provide after-sales technical support.

Coordinate with vendors for equipment procurement and replacements.

Education: Diploma or Technical Certification in Electronics, Electrical, or Communication Engineering.

SIRA Certification (or willingness to obtain it).

2–5 years of hands-on experience in ELV and security system installation and maintenance.

Deep and solid Experience with CCTV, ACS, SCS, PA, BGM, AV, GB..etc

Familiarity with Smart Home building automation systems is a plus.

Understanding of networking basics (IP addressing, PoE, NVR, VMS).

Proficiency in using electrical and network testing tools.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Customer service orientation & professional demeanor.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Valid UAE driving license preferred.

SIRA certifications are highly desirable.

Field-based role, frequent visits to client sites.

May involve overtime or night shifts for urgent troubleshooting.

Work is primarily in commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.

Timely completion of installation projects.

Compliance with SIRA standards.

Accuracy of documentation and reporting.
