Job Summary
The Lounge Supervisor supports the daily operation of a premium hospitality lounge, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, service excellence, and compliance with company and food safety standards. This role partners with unit leadership to oversee lounge operations, support team members, and maintain a welcoming environment that exceeds client and guest expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily lounge operations to ensure exceptional hospitality, service quality, and guest satisfaction.
Partner with management to maintain compliance with company policies, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
Supervise and support associates, providing training, coaching, and guidance to promote team success.
Monitor food and beverage presentation, product quality, cleanliness, and overall lounge appearance.
Assist with inventory control, product replenishment, and waste reduction initiatives.
Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive experience.
Support staffing, scheduling, and operational needs as required.
Foster positive relationships with clients, guests, and team members.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in hospitality, food service, restaurant, hotel, lounge, catering, or related environments.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and hospitality mindset.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated leadership, accountability, flexibility, and sense of urgency.
- ServSafe certification or ability to obtain certification is a plus.
