We are looking for a Motion Designer & Lottie Creator to own the visual design and animation for our highest-impact app real estate: the homepage masthead.

You will own the complete end-to-end creative pipeline: designing static vector assets from scratch based on product briefs, and then animating them into high-performance, lightweight Lottie files.

Working at the intersection of visual illustration, motion craft, and product performance, you will ensure every asset looks premium, loads instantly, and runs smoothly on entry-level smartphones across India.

Focus Area 1: End-to-End Asset Design & Motion

• Illustration & Vector Asset Creation: Design custom, high-quality static vector illustrations, icons, and visual UI assets in Figma/Illustrator that align with brand guidelines and category needs.
• Lottie Animation & Craft: Turn your static designs into smooth, expressive Lottie animations using After Effects, bringing product concepts (like digital gold or credit cards) to life.
• Homepage Masthead Real Estate: Own the visual presentation of primary homepage banners, ensuring designs drive immediate category recognition and high tap-through rates.
• Category Visual Storytelling: Translate complex financial products into simple, intuitive visual metaphors that guide user navigation.

Focus Area 2: Product Alignment & Technical Optimization

• Performance & Asset Compression: Optimize JSON and Lottie files to ensure minimal file sizes and low memory usage, preventing app lag or battery drain.
• Device Compatibility & Accessibility: Test and optimize animations across a wide spectrum of mobile devices, ensuring seamless playback on entry-level Android smartphones and varied screen sizes.
• Design Systems Integration: Work alongside the core UI/UX team to maintain consistent design tokens, color usage, and visual style across all custom illustrations.

Focus Area 3: Motion Analytics & Performance Optimization

• Tap-Through & Conversion Tracking: Collaborate with product analysts to review performance data on masthead assets, understanding how visual design and animation variations impact click-through rates.
• Iterative Testing: Design and test different visual styles, layout compositions, and animation speeds to continuously improve user engagement across categories.

• Full-Pipeline Portfolio: Strong portfolio demonstrating both static visual/illustration design skills (Figma/Illustrator) and complex vector motion design (After Effects to Lottie).
• Technical Performance Mastery: Deep understanding of Lottie runtime limitations, vector optimization, layer structuring, keyframe efficiency, and JSON file size constraints for high-scale apps.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven experience working alongside Product Managers, Engineers, and UI/UX Designers to ship live app features.

• Designer + Animator Hybrid: You take equal pride in drawing the clean, static vector illustration as you do in bringing it to life with motion.
• High-Scale User Focus: You understand our diverse user base and ensure your designs look great and play smoothly on simple, entry-level smartphones.
• High Agency: You take full ownership of the homepage motion experience, proactively spotting dated assets and pitching new visual concepts to product teams.
