Logistics & Yard Person

Southern Irrigation is actively seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team in a logistics-focused role, for our Langley location.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, helping customers, and wants to build a long-term career in the irrigation and water systems industry.

Location: 23160 72 Avenue, Langley, BC, V2Y 2K2

Rate of pay: $25-$35/hr depending on skills and experience

Job purpose: This position’s primary responsibility is to work in the pipe yard and warehouse organizing and storing inventory, as well as ensuring customer orders are gathered, packaged and sent/delivered accurately, efficiently and safely while maintaining a high level of customer service.

• Maintain a clean and organized yard and warehouse
• Operate various types of forklifts to unload/load pipe, septic tanks, concrete risers/basins, filter fabric rolls, etc.
• Accept deliveries in yard and receive incoming PO’s and transfers
• Store product in designated locations, stock shelves
• Assist with warehouse tasks, including but not limited to: Loading and unloading customers and stock deliveries Pulling and checking orders Verifying incoming shipments for accuracy Band pipes together
