Requirements
- Strong Reporting and News Writing skills.
- Excellent Communication and Writing skills for interviews, articles, and community facing content.
- Basic Multimedia skills, including familiarity with images, audio, or video for digital storytelling.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Prior experience in tech or business reporting, digital media, or community focused journalism.
- Ability to work on site in Bengaluru, manage deadlines, and adapt to a fast paced, collaborative environment.

Role Description
- The Reporter role is a full time, on site position based in Bengaluru.
- The Reporter will cover technology and IT related news, events, and community activities relevant to Kolkata IT Hub’s audience.
- Daily responsibilities include researching stories, conducting interviews with professionals and organizations, and producing timely written and multimedia news content for digital channels.
- The role involves verifying information, staying updated on industry trends, and collaborating with the editorial team to plan coverage and refine story angles.
- The Reporter will also engage with the community to source leads, gather feedback, and ensure that coverage reflects the needs and interests of members.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Reporting and News Writing skills, with the ability to develop clear, accurate, and engaging stories.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Writing skills for interviews, articles, and community facing content.
- Candidates should possess basic Multimedia skills, including familiarity with images, audio, or video for digital storytelling.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field are beneficial.
- Prior experience in tech or business reporting, digital media, or community focused journalism is an advantage.
