About the Role
Defendex Partners seeks a Supply Chain & Logistics Operations Specialist to manage customer orders from PO award to final delivery. The role involves coordinating international shipments, managing documentation, and ensuring alignment between suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers.

Responsibilities
- Manage customer orders from Purchase Order award until successful delivery
- Coordinate with suppliers to monitor production, availability, lead times, and shipment readiness
- Coordinate international shipments with freight forwarders and logistics providers
- Manage shipping schedules, customs documentation, import/export requirements, and delivery planning
- Track shipments and proactively resolve logistics issues
- Act as primary operational contact between suppliers, logistics providers, and customers after PO award
- Prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping documents, delivery documentation, and operational reports
- Identify opportunities to improve execution speed, operational efficiency, and supply chain performance
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Import & Export, or Operations
- Experience coordinating international shipments and supplier communications
- Strong understanding of shipping documentation, customs procedures, and supply chain operations
- Excellent planning, coordination, and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
- Experience in aviation, defense, industrial supply chain, or project logistics is an advantage
- Strong professional English communication and business writing skills
