Responsibilities
- Supervise day to day operations of the logistics team.
- Manage courier performance using established metrics.
- Implement and review courier routes and schedules to increase efficiencies.
- Ensure department is properly staffed to cover all routes.
- Establish relationships with outside logistics vendors.
- Generate and review daily/weekly reports and escalate issues.
- Ensure logistics staff is properly trained and address performance issues.
- Meet regularly with direct reports for coaching and feedback.
- Address and resolve internal and external client issues.
- Maintain and monitor department spend to ensure proper budget allocation.
- Manage and maintain branch vehicles according to Corporate Fleet standards.
- Engage in continuous process and service level improvements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- 3 years or more experience as a driver or courier
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- Be at least 21 years old
- Associates degree preferred
- 3 years or more experience as a medical courier preferred
- 3 years or more experience as a supervisor or team lead preferred

Job Overview
- Labcorp is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to join our team in Mobile, AL.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise the day to day operations of the logistics team.
- Manage the performance of all couriers using established performance metrics.
- Implement and review courier routes and schedules to increase efficiencies.
- Ensure department is properly staffed with the ability to cover all necessary routes.
- Establish relationships with outside logistics vendors to obtain coverage when needed.

- Ensure entire logistics staff is properly trained and any performance issues are addressed.
- Meet regularly with direct reports to provide coaching and feedback for their development.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
- 3 years or more experience as a driver or courier.

- 3 years or more experience as a supervisor or team lead.
