Responsibilities
- Prepare, verify, and process shipping and transportation documents
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations
- Prepare documents for Dubai Trade customs
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and customs declarations
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure timely deliveries
- Track shipments and update relevant departments on status changes
- Review and reconcile shipping invoices and related documents
- Assist in resolving discrepancies or delays in shipping processes
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for documentation
- Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams regarding logistics requirements
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in logistics documentation or freight forwarding in Dubai
- Must have Dubai Trade custom experience
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, shipping documentation, and international trade compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and problem solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of Incoterms and freight forwarding procedures is a plus
