About the Role
Al Sorour Bakeries seeks a Senior Logistics Supervisor to oversee fleet distribution, cold storage, dispatch planning, and last-mile delivery. The role ensures cost-effective, compliant logistics operations with cold-chain integrity and team leadership.

Responsibilities
- Manage daily fleet dispatch planning, vehicle allocation, driver assignments, and route scheduling
- Monitor on time delivery performance, route efficiency, vehicle utilization, and delivery exceptions
- Coordinate preventive maintenance, vehicle inspections, registrations, permits, insurance requirements, and breakdown follow up
- Monitor fuel consumption, GPS tracking, driver behavior, and fleet productivity reports
- Ensure proper use of HACCP certified chilled vehicles and maintain required operating standards
- Supervise receiving, storage, picking, staging, loading, dispatch, and inventory movement activities
- Ensure proper utilization of cold storage, frozen storage, and food grade dry storage areas
- Monitor temperature logs, storage conditions, product handling, housekeeping, and stock accuracy
- Supervise multi drop and short radius last mile delivery operations for internal routes and approved external customers
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, municipality, ADAFSA, transport, health and safety, and company requirements
- Supervise drivers, warehouse staff, cold store personnel, dispatch coordinators, and logistics clerks
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports covering delivery performance, fleet utilization, warehouse utilization, service issues, and cost drivers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Transportation Management, or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, distribution, supply chain, or fleet operations
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or team leadership role
- Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, cold chain logistics, 3PL operations, UAE distribution, last mile delivery, or temperature controlled transportation is strongly preferred
- HACCP or Food Safety certification is preferred
- Candidates must be in UAE

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Transportation Management, or a related field.
- Diploma holders may be considered where supported by strong and directly relevant logistics leadership experience.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, distribution, supply chain, or fleet operations.
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, cold chain logistics, 3PL operations, UAE distribution, last mile delivery, or temperature controlled transportation is strongly preferred.
- HACCP or Food Safety certification is preferred.
- Additional certifications such as CILT, APICS / CLTD, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, or related logistics / supply chain certifications are an advantage.

Salary
- Pay: AED6,000.00 AED9,000.00 per month
