PortecLink General Trading seeks a Logistics & Store Officer to manage import/export logistics for heavy equipment and oversee warehouse operations. The role involves coordinating international shipments, customs documentation, inventory control, and stock management.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate import and export shipments by air and sea
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, suppliers, and customers
- Prepare and review commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, air waybills, certificates of origin, and customs documentation
- Monitor shipment progress and ensure timely customs clearance and delivery
- Track logistics costs and maintain shipment records
- Receive and inspect spare parts, machinery components, and equipment upon arrival
- Verify part numbers, quantities, specifications, country of origin, and condition against purchase orders and packing lists
- Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods
- Label, organize, store, and issue inventory while maintaining accurate stock records
- Conduct regular stock counts and maintain warehouse organization and safety
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and service teams to ensure timely availability of materials
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, and warehouse operations
- Proven experience managing international import and export shipments by air and sea
- Knowledge of customs clearance procedures, Incoterms, and international shipping documentation
- Experience in inventory control and warehouse management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Valid UAE driving license
- Forklift operator certification/license is a plus

Job Summary
- The Logistics & Store Officer is responsible for managing import and export logistics for heavy equipment, cranes, port machinery, spare parts, and industrial products while overseeing warehouse operations.
- The role includes coordinating international air and sea shipments, customs documentation, receiving and inspecting goods, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
