Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of logistics and supply chain
- Implement systems and distribution arrangements for effective replenishment
- Prioritize in transit shipments as per required/short categories
- Monthly review of freight cost and negotiate with vendors
- Liaise with IT to develop new reports for better visibility
- Work with multiple vendors to improve service level and cost
- Focus on operational efficiencies and risk areas
- Handle a team of logistics associates
- Route planning for all regions
- Prepare and review monthly KPIs
- Conduct meetings with vendors
- Weekly and monthly reports/alerts to stakeholders

- Liaise with IT to develop new reports for better visibility of shipments
- Working with multiple vendors to improve service level and cost
- Focus on operational efficiencies and risk areas such as SASO compliance and detention cost reduction
- Truck utilization for loading shipments to KSA using longer trucks
- Handling a team of logistics associates
- Route planning for all regions as per compliance and shorter transit time
- Focus on requirements from government authorities for high risk categories
- Prepare and review monthly KPIs to control cost and transit times
- Conduct meetings with vendors to improve service levels
- Weekly and monthly reports/alerts to stakeholders

Job Purpose
- To manage all aspects of logistics and supply chain, implementing systems and distribution arrangements for effective replenishment at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize In transit shipments as per required / short categories in all regions.
- Monthly review of the freight cost as compared with the market rates, negotiate with the vendors to control freight cost.
- Liase with IT to develop new reports for better visibility of shipments at all times.
- Working with multiple vendors to improve service level and cost of Qatar Shipments by keeping KPI's under control.
- Focus on operational efficiencies and risk area such as 'SASO compliance goods and direct to store delivery in KSA', 'reduce detention cost'.
- Truck utilization for loading shipments to KSA by using longer trucks, to improve freight cost.
- Handling a team of logistics associates, providing knowledge to them to improve efficiency in complete export process.
- Route planning for all regions as per 'compliance with government authorities' and 'shorter transit time'.
- Focus on the requirements from government authorities of high risk categories such as toys, cosmetics and electronics and ensure smooth clearance and delivery.
- Prepare and review monthly KPI's in order to control cost and transit times.
- Conduct meetings with vendors to improve service levels.
- Weekly and Monthly reports/alerts to stakeholders for better visibility and to enhance the stocks movement from origin till destination.
