Job summary
Lotus Terminals is seeking a Logistics Operations Specialist to join its Surrey, British Columbia team.
The role is designed for someone who can develop toward future Operations Lead or Operations Manager responsibilities.

Duties
- Coordinate freight shipments and ensure successful execution from pickup to delivery.
- Communicate with customers, carriers, warehouse personnel and internal teams.
- Monitor shipment activity and proactively address service issues.
- Assist with customer inquiries, pricing requests and operational problem-solving.
- Support daily operational planning and execution.
- Maintain accurate records and shipment documentation.
- Learn transportation, warehousing, transloading and logistics processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and customer service.
- Develop skills and leadership capabilities for future advancement.
Required qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
