We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics & Operations Coordinator to join our West Bay office.
You will manage day-to-day logistics operations, coordinate shipments, and ensure smooth execution of our supply chain processes.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced trading environment and can handle multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including sea, air, and land freight.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse teams.
- Prepare and process shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
- Track shipments and provide real-time updates to internal teams and clients.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar customs regulations and international trade laws.
- Support procurement and operations teams with vendor communication and order follow-ups.
- Resolve logistics issues, delays, or discrepancies quickly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records in ERP/logistics systems.
- Assist in optimizing supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- Experience: 2–4 years in logistics, freight forwarding, or operations coordination.
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and GCC shipping regulations.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Zoho preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic or Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Valid Qatar ID or transferable visa preferred.
