- Plan and optimise transportation and delivery routes, select appropriate shipping carriers, and negotiate competitive freight rates across road, rail, sea, and air transport
- Support management in developing future logistics capabilities, including warehousing, trucking, transportation, and integrated supply chain solutions
- Build and manage strategic relationships with customers, suppliers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and logistics partners
- Facilitate the transition of existing clientele and business opportunities to the company
- Drive business development initiatives, expand the customer base, and maintain strong client relationships
- Provide strategic recommendations to management on growth and development of the logistics division
- Analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and support long term strategy development
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, customs requirements, health and safety standards, and company policies
- Monitor logistics performance through KPIs and implement initiatives to enhance service quality and cost optimization
Requirements
- Proven experience in logistics management, including transportation, warehousing, and supply chain
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills

Responsibilities

- Support management in developing future logistics capabilities, including warehousing, trucking, transportation, and integrated supply chain solutions.
- Build and manage strategic relationships with customers, suppliers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Facilitate the transition of existing clientele and business opportunities to AOP Marine and Logistics, where appropriate.
- Drive business development initiatives, expand the customer base, and maintain strong, long term relationships with clients and industry partners.
- Provide strategic recommendations to management on the growth and development of the logistics division, including opportunities in warehousing, transportation, trucking, and integrated logistics solutions.
- Analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and support management in developing and executing long term logistics and supply chain strategies.
- Support the achievement of revenue, profitability, operational efficiency, and business development objectives for the logistics division.
- Ensure compliance with applicable transportation regulations, customs requirements, health and safety standards, and company policies across all logistics operations.
- Monitor logistics performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), identify areas for improvement, and implement initiatives to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.
