Logistics Planning and Coordination
- Develop and implement comprehensive logistics plans aligned with project requirements and construction schedules.
- Coordinate movement and delivery of electrical materials, equipment, tools, and temporary facilities to work fronts.
- Ensure materials are available at site according to the approved construction program.
- Coordinate logistics activities with Construction, Procurement, Warehouse, Planning, QA/QC, HSE, and Commercial teams.
- Identify logistics constraints and develop mitigation plans.
Electrical Materials and Equipment
- Plan and coordinate receipt, inspection, unloading, storage, preservation, and distribution of electrical materials and equipment.
- Manage logistics for transformers, switchgear, generators, RMUs, MCCs, panels, cable drums, busducts, lighting equipment, and other electrical systems.
- Ensure sensitive electrical equipment is handled and stored properly to prevent damage or deterioration.
- Coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers, subcontractors, and transport companies.
Compliance and Site Logistics
- Ensure compliance with applicable transportation regulations and project requirements.
- Develop and maintain site logistics arrangements, including access routes, laydown areas, storage yards, loading and unloading zones, and material distribution points.
- Coordinate site access and delivery schedules to avoid congestion and disruption to construction activities.
- Coordinate delivery documentation, permits, gate passes, and inspection requirements.
- Follow up on delayed or critical deliveries and escalate potential impacts to project management.
- Ensure logistics activities comply with project HSE requirements and applicable regulations.
