Responsibilities
- Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with business objectives and supply chain goals
- Oversee transportation, distribution, warehousing, and logistics operations
- Manage logistics schedules, routes, resources, and operational priorities
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor logistics performance, delivery timelines, costs, and service quality metrics
- Identify process improvement opportunities to reduce costs and enhance efficiency
- Manage relationships with logistics providers, vendors, and third party service partners
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, customs requirements, transportation regulations, and company policies
- Analyze logistics data, forecasts, and operational trends to support decision making
- Prepare logistics reports, performance dashboards, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in logistics management, supply chain operations, transportation, or related roles
- 2+ years of experience managing logistics teams, vendors, or distribution operations preferred
- Strong understanding of logistics planning, transportation management, warehousing, and inventory coordination
- Experience with logistics software, ERP systems, and supply chain analytics tools
- Knowledge of import/export procedures, customs processes, and regulatory compliance is advantageous
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making abilities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while coordinating operational activities
