Logistics Manager

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate freight, bookings, and pricing.
• Monitor market updates continuously.
• Work with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and transport vendors.
• Track shipments and update internal teams and customers.
• Ensure accurate export documentation and customs compliance.
• Monitor logistics costs and optimise shipping routes.
• Manage end-to-end vehicle logistics operations.
• Coordinate international car shipments from auctions and suppliers.
• Coordinate with inspection teams, warehouses, and transport drivers.
• Resolve shipment delays, documentation issues, and operational challenges.
• Maintain shipment tracking records and logistics reports.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or automotive logistics required.
• Experience with vehicle shipping, export documentation, or auto logistics preferred.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills required.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and timelines simultaneously required.
• Familiarity with international shipping processes and customs procedures required.
• Strong communication skills in English required.
• Proficiency in Excel or logistics tracking systems required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with car auctions such as Copart, IAAI, or Manheim preferred.
• Experience working with international vehicle clients or vendors preferred.
• Knowledge of air, sea, including container, RORO, FCL, and LCL, and land freight preferred.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary is AED 5,000 to AED 10,000 per month.
