About the Role
The organization is seeking an experienced, strategic, and commercially minded Logistics Director.
The role leads the logistics function and provides operational and strategic guidance across the organization.
The scope includes logistics operations, transportation, warehousing, inventory management, supply-chain coordination, cost control, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead logistics and transportation operations.
- Develop logistics strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee transportation, warehousing, distribution, inventory, and delivery activities.
- Develop logistics plans, budgets, forecasts, and performance targets.
- Monitor costs, productivity, service levels, and operational KPIs.
- Optimize routes, warehouse operations, inventory levels, and resource allocation.
- Manage logistics providers, suppliers, carriers, customs agents, and external partners.
- Negotiate contracts, service agreements, pricing, and commercial terms where applicable.
- Establish logistics policies, procedures, controls, and standards.
- Identify and manage logistics, supply-chain, and operational risks.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods, materials, and products.
- Lead and develop logistics, warehouse, and transportation teams.
