Overview
- Plan and coordinate drivers, vehicles, shipments, deliveries, and transportation routes
- Communicate with clients, carriers, freight forwarders, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery
- Track shipments and update stakeholders on delivery status
- Prepare and manage shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading)
- Resolve transportation issues such as delays, damages, or lost shipments
- Optimize transportation costs while maintaining service quality
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics data
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for loading and unloading schedules
- Analyse logistics performance and suggest improvements
