Role Summary
The Logistics Coordinator manages transportation logistics, coordinates shipments, and maintains accurate documentation.
The role covers global ocean, ground, and intermodal freight operations and regulatory and customer requirements.
Core Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipments from suppliers to customers for timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Prepare export documents, including invoices, certificates of origin, packing lists, customs forms, and loading instructions.
- Track shipments and provide updates on truck locations, reefer temperatures, and border crossings.
- Process supplier and freight invoices and maintain shipping logs and logistics records.
- Negotiate rates and manage carrier, broker, and third-party logistics relationships.
- Ensure compliance for domestic, cross-border, and international shipments.
- Communicate with vendors, customers, shipping lines, and freight forwarders.
- Support internal teams and resolve transportation or delivery issues.
