Role Overview

Inno Foods is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator for domestic and international logistics operations.

The role supports timely shipments, import processes, freight management, customs compliance, order fulfillment, and coordination across teams and partners.

Shipping and Coordination

  • Coordinate outbound shipments from multiple facilities and address delivery delays or issues.
  • Coordinate inbound shipments for machinery, equipment, and non-ingredient goods, including documentation.
  • Plan daily and weekly shipments and communicate schedules with warehouse and carrier teams.
  • Serve as the logistics contact between warehouses, carriers, and customs brokers, including after-hours support when needed.

Freight and Cost Management

  • Maintain freight databases and analyze shipping costs and volumes for logistics planning.
  • Negotiate shipping rates and maintain relationships with logistics service providers.
  • Review and approve freight invoices before submission to accounting.
  • Provide freight estimates and shipping support to sales and pricing teams.

Customs and Compliance

  • Verify customs duties and oversee their payment, recording, and reimbursement.
  • Review assigned HS codes using product descriptions and historical classifications.
  • Coordinate corrections with customs brokers or compliance experts to reduce clearance delays, duties, and penalties.

Orders and Internal Support

  • Monitor retail customer orders and coordinate timely fulfillment and payments with internal teams and accounts receivable.
  • Respond to logistics-related questions and complete other tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in a logistics role is required.
  • Two or more years of logistics, shipping, or supply chain coordination experience is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of logistics, supply chain, or business operations is required.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms and familiarity with carriers, customs brokers, or 3PL partners are required.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is required; Korean is an asset.

Skills and Tools

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, multitasking, prioritization, independent-work, attention-to-detail, and problem-solving skills are required.

Compensation

  • The position pays $25.00 to $27.00 per hour.

  • The work location is in person in Langley, British Columbia.
