Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the flow of goods and materials, ensuring efficient logistics operations.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehousing, and transportation teams to optimize supply chain processes.
- Monitor and track inventory levels, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely reordering.
- Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to negotiate rates, schedule deliveries, and resolve any logistics-related issues.
- Prepare and maintain logistics documentation, including shipping manifests, bills of lading, and customs paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in logistics operations.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures.
- Provide regular updates and reports on logistics performance to the management team.
- Assist in developing and implementing logistics strategies to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics operations and coordination.
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency in using logistics software and systems for tracking and documentation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and best practices in logistics.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a dynamic work environment.
