Job Overview

  • We are hiring: Jr. Logistics Coordinator Dubai Based Role
  • The Operations Team manages key customer accounts through active, hands on coordination across the full supply chain.
  • The role requires constant follow up on shipments, quick decision making, and close communication with clients, suppliers, and agents.
  • In this position, you take full ownership of assigned accounts, anticipate client needs, and react quickly to any operational changes or issues.

Responsibilities for Jr Logistics Coordinator

  • Manage orders and arrange the stock of materials and equipment.
  • Plan and track shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
  • Communicate with suppliers and customers to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction.
  • Maintain logs and records of warehouse stock and executed orders.
  • Recruit and coordinate logistics staff (e.g., truck drivers) according to availability and requirements.
  • Prepare accurate reports for upper management.
  • Prepare accurate invoices and quotations.
  • Coordination of daily operations.
  • Develop strong business relationships with such clients and gain their business for future development.
  • Coordinate with the agents to ensure the flow of the shipment to the destination.
  • Complete the selling for quotations, hand back the prices to the officer, and keep a record for every request.
  • Maintain and share with colleagues as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant import/export laws and procedures, tariffs and duties, licenses, and restrictions.

Qualifications for Jr. Logistics Coordinator

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business Analytics.
  • 1+ years' experience in customer service or logistics management.
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
  • Computer savvy with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Keen on working in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong leader and management ability.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Possess basic computer skills such as Microsoft office use.
  • Excellent communication skills.
