Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily deployment of company vehicles to project sites
- Monitor fleet movement using GPS tracking systems or manual tracking logs
- Ensure optimum utilization of vehicles while minimizing idle time and operational costs
- Schedule vehicle allocations based on project priorities and operational requirements
- Coordinate emergency vehicle requests and urgent transportation needs
- Maintain accurate vehicle movement records and daily dispatch logs
- Coordinate manpower transportation and site deployment schedules
- Assign vehicles to project sites based on workforce and material movement requirements
- Liaise with Project Managers and Site Engineers regarding transportation needs

Requirements

Job Summary
- The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the daily movement of company vehicles, equipment, and personnel to project sites.
- The role ensures efficient fleet utilization, timely site assignments, route planning, driver coordination, and compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Works closely with project teams, transport supervisors, HR, and maintenance personnel to ensure uninterrupted logistical support for all operational activities.
Key Responsibilities Fleet Management
- Coordinate the daily deployment of company vehicles to project sites.
- Monitor fleet movement using GPS tracking systems or manual tracking logs.
- Ensure optimum utilization of vehicles while minimizing idle time and operational costs.
- Schedule vehicle allocations based on project priorities and operational requirements.
- Coordinate emergency vehicle requests and urgent transportation needs.
- Maintain accurate vehicle movement records and daily dispatch logs.
Site Assignment Coordination
- Coordinate manpower transportation and site deployment schedules.
- Assign vehicles to project sites based on workforce and material movement requirements.

- Ensure timely mobilization and demobilization of personnel and equipment.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly vehicle assignment schedules.
Driver Coordination
- Assign drivers according to approved schedules.
- Monitor driver attendance, working hours, and overtime.
- Verify that drivers possess valid licenses and company authorization.
- Conduct driver briefings on routes, safety, and company procedures.
- Address transportation related issues reported by drivers.
Vehicle Maintenance Coordination
- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules with the maintenance department.
- Monitor vehicle service due dates, insurance, and registration renewals.
- Report breakdowns and arrange replacement vehicles when necessary.
- Maintain maintenance records for all fleet vehicles.
- Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with safety standards.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain vehicle allocation registers.
- Prepare daily fleet movement reports.
- Record fuel consumption and mileage.
- Monitor trip sheets and driver logbooks.
- Prepare monthly fleet utilization and performance reports.
- Maintain documentation for accidents, incidents, and vehicle inspections.
Required Skills
