Role Description
The Logistics Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi.
The role oversees daily transportation and contracting logistics for water supplies, drainage removal services, and scrap-material movement.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely and accurate dispatch and receipt.
- Track inventory levels for materials, supplies, and equipment across multiple sites.
- Manage shipment and site-operation documentation.
- Liaise with drivers, suppliers, customers, and project teams.
- Resolve logistical issues and optimize routes and resource allocation.
- Maintain compliance with safety and operational procedures.
- Communicate order status, timelines, and service requirements to customers and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to assess logistics data, plan schedules, and improve operational efficiency.
- Effective communication and customer service skills for coordination with clients, drivers, and project teams.
- Experience in inventory management across multiple sites.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles relevant to transportation, scrap handling, and contracting services.
- Previous logistics, transportation, or construction-related operations experience is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi and manage field-based coordination in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and logistics tracking tools.
- A relevant diploma or degree in logistics, business, engineering, or a related field is an advantage.
