About the Role
VR International DMCC is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to support international trading activities in Dubai. The role involves coordinating shipments, liaising with freight forwarders, and managing documentation, requiring 3+ years of logistics experience.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics and shipment activities
- Liaise with freight forwarders, logistics providers, warehouses and transport companies
- Track inbound and outbound shipments and ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, airway bills and related logistics documents
- Maintain accurate shipment and inventory records
- Coordinate closely with the finance and accounting team regarding shipment costs, invoices, and payment related documentation
- Follow up with suppliers and customers regarding shipment status and delivery schedules
- Ensure all logistics documentation is complete and properly filed
- Support management with logistics reporting and operational updates
- Assist in resolving shipment discrepancies, delays and documentation issues
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of logistics, shipping, freight forwarding or supply chain experience
- Strong understanding of import/export documentation and shipping procedures
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced trading environment
- Experience dealing with freight forwarders, customs documentation and warehouse operations is preferred
