Role Overview
GLASSLINE is hiring a Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily packaging, loading, dispatch, and delivery activities.
The role focuses on safe, accurate, and timely handling of glass, aluminium, and other fragile materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise packaging, loading, and dispatch activities for fragile materials.
- Inspect finished products for packaging, protection, labeling, and traceability.
- Coordinate manpower, schedules, overtime, transport bookings, and loading priorities.
- Ensure safe loading and securing with forklifts, cranes, A-frames, straps, and lifting equipment.
- Verify quantities, packing lists, delivery notes, and dispatch documentation.
- Coordinate with drivers, transport providers, customers, production, quality control, and logistics teams.
- Maintain ERP dispatch records and daily loading and dispatch reports.
- Monitor deliveries and escalate delays, damages, shortages, and discrepancies.
- Enforce PPE, housekeeping, safety, and workplace discipline standards.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of logistics, packaging, or dispatch experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous supervisory or team-lead experience is required.
- Fragile-material experience with glass, aluminium, or façade products is advantageous.
- Knowledge of safe loading, packaging, and material-handling practices.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- A technical diploma in Logistics, Industrial Operations, or a related field is preferred.
- Good communication, coordination, and team-management skills.
- Willingness to work on the shop floor or loading bay and work extended hours when required.
Compensation
- Pay starts from AED 5,000 per month.
