About the Role
Austability seeks a Locksmith/Structures Technician for a temporary 90-day contract in Abu Dhabi to support the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program.

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair all assigned doors, locks, structural components, roofing systems, floor systems, foundations, gutter systems and surface coverings
- Perform metal and fabric repair, fabrication work, welding support to include oxy/acetylene cutting, corrosion control, pavement painting and striping, locksmithing services and form work for concrete
- Remodel, refurbish or demolish existing facilities
- Install, maintain and repair protective coatings, sealants, epoxies, glues, paints and fencing
- Perform major building interior finish repairs, such as replacement or repair of acoustic ceiling tile and sheetrock ceilings and walls
- Perform Carpentry installation/repairs including whole door replacement, door handles, hinges, closers, flooring repair, drywall repair, roofing materials
- Perform Masonry installation/repairs including CMU, brick construction, tile applications, concrete forms
- Perform Sheetmetal installation/repairs including duct work, metal patchwork, rollup doors
- Perform Welding installation/repairs including welding, cutting, blazing
- Perform TFS (Tension Fabric Systems) installation/repairs
- Perform Locksmithing installation/repairs including mechanical personnel door locks, pad locks, cypher locks
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent training/experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of construction
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of locksmithing
- Professional Locksmithing Certified
- Shall be Registered Locksmiths and shall have sufficient expertise
- Ability to read and write English is required
- Possess a valid state issued driver’s license and passport
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate US Government Clearance level (NACI/secret); US Citizenship required
- Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment

Purpose and Scope
- This is a temporary 90 contract position in Abu Dhabi to maintain and repair structural components to include pre engineered permanent, semi permanent and temporary facilities such as tension fabric shelters, trailer offices, lodging and water closets, metal ladders, stairs, railings, and structures
Essential Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair all assigned doors, locks, structural components, roofing systems, floor systems, foundations, gutter systems and surface coverings.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- High school diploma or equivalent training/experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of construction.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of locksmithing.
- Professional Locksmithing Certified.
- Shall be Registered Locksmiths and shall have sufficient expertise.
- Shall work with Keystone or current software.
- Ability to read and write English is required.
- Solid communications skills, strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work as a member of a diverse, dynamic team.
- Outstanding problem solving skills and sound judgment.
- Possess a valid state issued driver’s license and passport.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate US Government Clearance level. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain Clearance.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands
- Working conditions in over 100 degree Fahrenheit conditions.
- Frequently lifts items weighing 40–45 pounds and occasionally in excess of 50 pounds.
- Frequently climbing to over 12 feet and using lifts to access over 24 feet to perform job functions.
- Working with manual and electrical hand tools.
- Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, extreme heat, and vibration.
- Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; and risk of electrical shock.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud or unsafe conditions.
- Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
- Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
