About the Role
Versar Global Solutions seeks a temporary Locksmith for a 90-day assignment in Abu Dhabi supporting the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program. You will install, maintain, and repair locks, doors, and structural components.

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair doors, locks, structural components, roofing, floor systems, foundations, gutter systems, and surface coverings
- Perform metal and fabric repair, fabrication, welding support including oxy/acetylene cutting, corrosion control, pavement painting and striping, locksmith services, and form work for concrete
- Remodel, refurbish or demolish existing facilities
- Install, maintain and repair protective coatings, sealants, epoxies, glues, paints, and fencing
- Perform major building interior finish repairs such as acoustic ceiling tile and sheetrock ceilings and walls
- Perform carpentry, masonry, sheetmetal, welding, TFS, and locksmithing installation/repairs as detailed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent training/experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction
- Minimum 2 years of experience in locksmithing
- Professional Locksmithing Certified
- Registered Locksmith with sufficient expertise
- Ability to read and write English
- Valid state issued driver's license and passport
- Must be able to obtain and maintain US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required)
- Ability to pass contract medical requirements

This Opportunity
- Temporary position in Abu Dhabi to maintain and repair structural components.
- Supports the mission on Al Dhafra Air Base in support of AFCAP.
- NOTE: This is a temporary position (90 days with potential for up to 3 additional months).
- NOTE: This position is contingent upon award of work.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair all assigned doors, locks, structural components, roofing systems, floor systems, foundations, gutter systems and surface coverings.
- Perform metal and fabric repair, fabrication work, welding support to include oxy/acetylene cutting, corrosion control, pavement painting and striping, locksmith services and form work for concrete.
- Remodel, refurbish or demolish existing facilities.

Who You'll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent training/experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in locksmithing.
- Professional Locksmithing Certified.
- Shall be Registered Locksmiths and shall have sufficient expertise.
- Shall work with Keystone or current software.
- Ability to read and write English is required.
- Solid communications skills, strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work as a member of a diverse, dynamic team.
- Outstanding problem solving skills and sound judgment.
- Possess a valid state issued driver’s license and passport.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate US Government Clearance level. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain Clearance.
Environment
- Working conditions in over 100 degree Fahrenheit conditions.
- Frequently lifts items weighing 40 45 pounds and occasionally in excess of 50 pounds.
- Frequently climbing to over 12 feet and using lifts to access over 24 feet.
- Working with manual and electrical hand tools.
- Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, extreme heat, and vibration.
- Occasionally exposed to wet/humid conditions, high places, fumes, extreme cold, risk of electrical shock.
- Noise level is usually loud or unsafe.
- Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
