Job Overview
The role is an intermediate-level KYC Operations Analyst position.
The analyst supports AML monitoring, governance, oversight, and regulatory reporting in coordination with the Compliance and Control team.
The overall objective is to develop and manage a dedicated internal KYC program at Citi.
Responsibilities
- Perform risk and control activities covering information security, business continuity, and records management.
- Analyze risks and controls, identify root causes, and collaborate on solutions to mitigate issues.
- Support business managers and product staff.
- Develop and execute business plans within the area of responsibility.
- Develop compliance guidelines and complete monthly, quarterly, and other periodic risk and control reporting.
- Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to internal and external teams.
- Work with Internal Audit and external audit on situations involving risk and legal liabilities.
- Operate with limited direct supervision, exercise independent judgment, and act as a subject matter expert.
- Assess risk in business decisions and drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies.
- Escalate, manage, and report control issues transparently.
