Position Summary
West Penn Heavy Haul is seeking a Load Securement Professional to support heavy haul and rig move operations.
This position is primarily responsible for ensuring all loads are properly secured, inspected, and compliant with DOT regulations prior to transport.
In addition to securement duties, this role assists with on-the-ground field activities between loads, including supporting safe work practices and jobsite coordination as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect all loads prior to transport for proper securement, accuracy, and DOT compliance
- Apply DOT load securement regulations and company standards to oversized and overweight loads
- Identify and correct securement issues or hazards before departure
- Install, adjust, and remove chains, binders, straps, and other securement devices
