Overview

  • A private household in Dubai is seeking an experienced House Manager & Personal Assistant to support two principals across both their family residence and office.
  • This is a dual facing role: part high level personal support and PA style assistance, and part hands on ownership of the day to day running of the home.
  • The household hosts and accommodates international visitors frequently, so the role also requires discretion, polish and operational precision.

Job duties

  • Provide high level personal assistant support to the principals, including diary management, appointments, travel, reservations, errands and personal administration.
  • Take ownership of the smooth day to day running of the residence, acting proactively and without needing to be directed.
  • Coordinate contractors and suppliers, and manage household budgets and inventory.
  • Onboard and support household staff, and oversee staff supervision and scheduling.
  • Coordinate and prepare the residence for hosting international guests, including turn down service, room preparation and itinerary support.
  • Liaise with the chef, chauffeur and live in housekeeping staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Manage household maintenance, contractors and ad hoc projects.
  • Maintain household standards, inventories and standard operating procedures.
  • Support both the family residence and the office as required, moving comfortably between both environments.
  • Support principals with ad hoc personal requests as needed, with a genuinely hands on approach — no task is too small, particularly while the household is being established.

Candidates must be/have:

  • Significant prior experience as a House Manager, PA, or senior Butler/Estate Manager in a private UHNW household.
  • Proven experience managing household staff and coordinating high touch hospitality for guests.
  • Naturally proactive, highly organised and comfortable working independently, identifying what needs to be done without waiting to be asked.
  • Sound judgement and a willingness to take ownership of issues as they arise.
  • Emotional intelligence, discretion, adaptability and a calm manner.
  • Based in Dubai, with strong knowledge of local suppliers, contractors and service providers.
  • Experience working under NDA in a private household.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable, comfortable with an evolving brief during the property transition period.
  • Right to work in the UAE.

Salary

  • Up to 45,000 AED, DOE.

Hours

  • Full time, 5/6 day week (TBC), with flexibility expected around principal and guest schedules.

Location

  • Dubai, UAE. Initially based at temporary accommodation; final residence likely Emirates Hills area.
